Kimball Craig Jones, 53, of Rich Creek, VA, died on November 14, 2011.
He was born on December 2, 1957, in Christiansburg, VA. Kim was the youngest son of the late Wallace Jones and Sylvia Jones of Christiansburg.
He has one brother, Gary Jones & wife, Kristi, of Roanoke; his wife of 34 years, Teresa McNeil Jones, who is the daughter of Marshall & Judy McNeil; his 3 children – son, Nathan & his fiancée Amber Martin of Roanoke; daughters, Natalie Jones of Rich Creek & her fiancé Johnathon Thompson, Rene and her dear friend, Seth Brown, of Rich Creek.
Kim was a 1976 graduate of Christiansburg High School and attended Emanuel College, in Franklin Springs, GA, where he was ordained as a minister. He pastored 3 churches and touched many lives.
Kim was an avid reader of the Bible and Christian books. He also loved all types of music and movies.
Kim struggled with bi-polar depression for several years. He is now at peace in the arms of his Savior and he will be deeply missed by all who remember the good times.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, from 5-8 pm at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, November 17, 2011, at 2 pm at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Fred Austin officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
