Gregory, Lacy Shoemaker, age 78, of Christiansburg, died Friday November 30, 2007 at New River Valley Medical Center.
She retired from C&P Telephone Co. after 20 years of service and was a life member of the Telephone pioneers of America.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cleve. E. Gregory. Surviving are her devoted children: son Lee Gregory and wife Susan Holder of Rockville, MD, daughter Eva Denton of Mooresburg, TN, and daughter Ginger Gregory and fiance’ Buddy Hobgood. of Christiansburg, VA.
A funeral service will be conducted on Monday December 3, 2007 at 2:00 PM in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Thomas E. Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem, VA. The family will receive friends Sunday December 2, 2007 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Horne Funeral Home.
