WILLIAMS, LELIA WOOD, age 94, of Christiansburg passed away Saturday, March 26, 2005 at Montgomery Regional Hospital.
She was born December 18, 1910 the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Ida McGuyer Wood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Lloyd Williams, a son, Junior E. Williams; five sisters, Mamie Trump, Alice Johnson, Constance Miles, Mary Marston and Ruby Duncan; and three brothers, Phlegar Wood, Harless Wood and Allen Wood.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Teddy M. and Reba H. Williams, Riner; eleven grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren and thirteen great great-grandchildren; also many very special friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Monday evening at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Neal Turner with interment to follow in Sunset Cemetery. The Williams family is being served by Horne Funeral Service. (382-2612)
