Lena Quesenberry

QUESENBERRY, LENA REED, age 95 of Christiansburg and formerly of Blacksburg entered into her eternal home on Wednesday, January 5, 2005.
She was a lifelong member of the Christiansburg Church of the Brethren, involved in every aspect of Christian service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Toy A. Quesenberry and an infant son, Samuel Joseph Quesenberry.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, William E. & Shelby Quesenberry of Collinsville, VA; Donald Lee & Linda Quesenberry of Dale City, VA; daughters and son-in-law, Mary Jean Alls, Showalter Center, Blacksburg; Ann & Ronnie Allen of Christiansburg, VA; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8 at the Christiansburg Church of the Brethren with Pastor Don Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. The Quesenberry Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg. (382-2612).
