June 12, 1937 — September 29, 2022

Leon Donald Akers, 85, of Christiansburg passed over into the arms of the Father peacefully at home surrounded by his family on September 29, 2022, just as his loving wife, Virgie, had 3 months and 25 days prior.

He spent countless Sundays with his family driving through the countryside dreaming of buying land and tractors.
