JONES, LILLIAN COOPER, age 83, from Christiansburg, peacefully entered into heaven on December 24, 2005.
She is rejoicing in the presence of her Lord and Savior and is no longer suffering. She has been reunited with her beloved husband, Russell Jones.
She is survived by five children and their spouses, David and Nancy Jones, Nancy and Roger Smith, Curtis and Victoria Jones, Bentley and Sherry Jones and Donald and Gwen Jones. She leaves behind 12 much loved grandchildren, Jeff, Andy, Danielle, Crystal, Tabitha, Wendy, Mercedes, Dorian, Samantha, Jada, Brad and Will. She also had 7 great grandchildren. She is survived by three much loved sisters, Mary Ann McGuire, Clara Dobbins, and Polly & John Woolwine, Jr. and also many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday evening, Dec. 29, at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon, Friday, December 30, 2005 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Virgil McHone and Rev. Gary Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. The Jones Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
