Lisa Ann Wasilewski Rosenquist, a cherished wife, devoted sister, and esteemed nurse, departed this world on April 5, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on February 8, 1962, Lisa was a beacon of compassion and care, dedicating over 40 years of her life to nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Her exceptional service in healthcare touched countless lives, always infused with her unwavering commitment to healing and compassion.

An alumnus of McDowell County Industrial School, Lisa embraced nursing with a passion that resonated throughout her career. She skillfully combined her professional endeavors with a personal touch that left an indelible mark on both her colleagues and patients, forever embodying the essence of what it means to be a caregiver.

Beyond her impressive career, Lisa was a voracious reader who found joy in the thrilling narratives of Stephen King novels, devouring each page with an enthusiasm that was palpable to her family and friends.

Lisa enjoyed her quiet moments, too, where she could immerse herself in her favorite movie, Silence of the Lambs. This love for storytelling lent an additional layer to her already vibrant personality, providing a foundation for discussions filled with depth and humor.

Family meant everything to Lisa. She is remembered fondly by her beloved husband, Mark Rosenquist, who stood by her side through thick and thin, sharing laughter, love, and the everyday moments that would become cherished memories. Her sister, Mary Wasilewski, and brother, Edward A. Wasilewski, will hold onto their sister's spirit forever. They shared countless childhood memories that transformed into lifelong bonds. Lisa also leaves behind her brother-in-law, Eddie Rosenquist, and mother-in-law, Pat Beno, who will forever treasure the moments spent with her.

Lisa was incredibly fond of her furry companions, her beloved cat Sugar Pie and her loyal dog Josie, who brought immense joy and comfort into her life. Their playful antics and loving natures were a constant source of happiness.

She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Wasilewski, and her mother, Vera Beatrice Tolliver Wasilewski, who, no doubt, welcomed her with open arms and fond memories.

In her journey through life, Lisa touched many hearts, and her warmth was felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Special thanks are extended to Glenn, Jimmy, Eva, Teresa, and the gang, along with Father Cassidy Stinson, for their unwavering support and kindness during Lisa's life and throughout her final days.

As we remember Lisa Ann Rosenquist, may we carry her spirit of compassion, her love for stories, and her unwavering dedication to care into our own lives. She leaves behind not just memories, but a legacy that will inspire those who knew her to live with purpose and empathy.
