Lockie Jo Greear

Lockie Jo Greear, 79, of Riner, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Nolen and Emily
Blanche Duncan.

Lockie Jo is survived by her loving husband of 59 years W.R. “Bill”
Greear; children, Becky and son-in-law Patrick Saylors with
granddaughters Brooke and Katie; Scott Greear with granddaughter
Heather; Darin and daughter-in-law Tabitha Greear,  all of Riner.

Lockie Jo attended Radford College and then continued her education at
Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Advance Studies in Nursing and on to
Hollins College where she graduated and became an RN.

Lockie Jo was also a lifetime member at Auburn United Methodist Church
in Riner with 32 consecutive years of perfect attendance.

Visitation will be from 4-7:00 pm, Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Horne
Funeral Home, with Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 pm in the Horne
Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Knox Wimberly officiating.
