CHAFIN, LOIS STEWART, age 69, of Christiansburg, passed away Monday, November 3, 2008 at her home after a lengthy illness.
The daughter of the late Harry P. and Mary S. Stewart she is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Gilbert W. Chafin; three sons, Mike Chafin, California, Barry Chafin, Roanoke, Stewart Chafin, Christiansburg; sisters, Bertie Lawson, Daisy Lawson and Lou Jones all of Christiansburg.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 Wednesday at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at the Christiansburg Church of the Brethren with Pastor Don Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
