Lucy Carol Licea, 63, of Christiansburg and formerly of Giles County, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Albert & Clara Alvin Hollins Mullins. She is survived by her husband, Freddie Licea; three children, Jennifer (Larry) MacStravic, Billy and Michael Williams; grandchildren, Dwight, Josh, Caitlyn, Ryan, Myah, Parker and Emily; plus other extended family.
Mom was very much loved and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was very giving of herself and would give you her last dollar even if it meant she had to go without. That’s the kind of person she was - always thinking of others. We love you and miss you. There will always be a void in our hearts until we see you again.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 4, 2013, from 5-8 pm at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 5th at 10 am in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Eddie Kendall officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery, Giles County, VA.
