Luis Warf, 79, of Roanoke, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Warf; foster parents, William Robert Grimm, Jr. and Edna Snapp Grimm; and 2 brothers, Kenneth Warf and Minter Warf.
He is survived by Betty A. Warf; son, Jeffrey L. Warf & his wife Michele; granddaughter, Brittany Warf, all of Radford; 2 foster brothers, Melvin Wayne Grimm & his wife Barbara and Joseph Stephen Grimm & his wife Marsha; and other extended family and friends.
Luis retired as C.E.O. of Medical Facilities of America, and after that he volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House and Feeding America Southwest Virginia, both organizations he considered as part of his extended family.
The family would like to thank Salem Health & Rehab Center for their care of Luis and special thanks to Feeding America Southwest Virginia for their support and prayers.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 10, 2013, from 3-5 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 11th, at 11 a.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
