Mable Melvina 'Tootie' Custer

Mable Melvina ‘Tootie’ Custer, 79, of Christiansburg passed away at NRVMC of natural causes to be with her Lord on April 6, 2022.
Mable was born July 20, 1942, to the late Redrick Custer Sr. and Thelma Custer. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Roy Lee Custer, grandson, Dustin Custer; and special lifelong friend, Donald Cox.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Atkins and husband Brian; step-grandson, Justin Atkins; granddaughter, Brooke and husband Josh Dean; great-grandson, Draco Custer and his mother, Brittany Early; half-brothers, Redrick Custer Jr., Kevin Custer, and David Custer; as well as many other friends and family.
Visitation will be Monday, April 11, 2022, from noon to 1 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
