Madeleine Parsons Snidow, 86, of Christiansburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Talmadge Columbus & Mattie Irene Jones Parsons; and a sister, Mildred Parsons Butner.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean Ruth Fletcher & her husband, Franklin W. Fletcher, Sr.; special cousin, Dot Beasley; special friend and caregiver, Dr. Leslie Badillo; as well as numerous other cousins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 15, 2012, from 6-8 pm at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 16th at 2 pm at the Christiansburg Presbyterian Church, with Dr. Don Makin officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
The family would like to thank the staff of the medical unit at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center and the staff of Skyline Manor Nursing Home in Floyd.
