Fitzgerald, Madison Ray, 46, of Christiansburg, VA, died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, September 7, 2010. He was born October 12, 1963 in Lynchburg, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Valice and Clyde Fitzgerald.
Madison was a graduate of Blacksburg High School. He also attended the University of South Florida, and was a certified paralegal. He was employed at Inorganic Solutions located in Christiansburg, Va. Madison was an avid musician and also loved to create “gourmet dishes” for his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory is his sister and brother-in-law, Gayle and Malcolm Thornton, of Christiansburg; brother-in-law, Madison King of Roanoke; nephew, William Scott King of Roanoke. He is also survived by several great-nieces, a great-great nephew, two aunts, many cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2010 at the Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Carson Kempher, a cousin, officiating. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg, Va.
