Maelie Elizabeth Nagle, Christiansburg, VA, infant daughter of Zach T. And Mary Price Nagle and sister of Landon T. Nagle blessed us all with her presence on Saturday, January 24th, 2015. Although God gave her to us in silence, she gave love to us in volumes for the short time we have had with her.
Surviving our precious Maelie, along with her Daddy, Mommy and brother Landon are: grandparents Jay and Becci Lane Nagle, Art and Donita Croy Price, all of Christiansburg; aunts and uncles, Ivan and Hope Price Velickovic, David and Maddie Price Duke, all of Christiansburg. Jason Nagle of Roanoke, Isaac and Becca Nagle of Rocky Mount, and Cameron Nagle of Christiansburg. Also surviving are great-grandparents, P.J. Hollander of Martinsville, Don and Nedra Croy of Blacksburg and Nadine A. Price of Christiansburg.
Maelie has left us way too early but we are sure she has gone to prepare the biggest and bestest playroom ever for she, her big brother, Landon and her precious cousins, Olivia I. Velickovic and Emmie J. Duke.
Through all this pain we are enduring, we want to praise our Lord Jesus Christ for giving her to us, if only for a few days in which to love. We thank Him for all he has done for our family and all He continues to do.
Our Mary will forever share in common this experience of letting her baby go back into the arms of God like another Mary who, although her baby lived to be 33 years old, she witnessed him die on a cross to go back in the arms of His Father so that Zach, Mary, and Landon will once again see their little angel, Maelie.
We were expecting a baby, but was given an angel instead.
Private funeral services for immediate family will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11 AM
at Horne Funeral Home conducted by Porter Riner of Alleghany Christian Church. There will be no visitation.
A heartfelt thanks to Horne Funeral Home for their kindness of love, to Porter Riner and the excellent staff at Radford Carilion Hospital. We will never be able to repay Doctor Kimberly Simcox and Midwife Kris Conrad for their compassion and love during the happiest and saddest time of our lives.
