Mary was very much a homebody and quiet observer. She obsessed about the time and the weather. She enjoyed watching Hallmark movies and her visiting pup companions, Penny, Cooper, Taz and Millie. She had the sweetest little giggle when Penny would sit in her chair with her. She loved hard candies & ice cream. She loved to watch birds, squirrels & rabbits in the backyard. She was lovingly cared for by her daughter-in-law Alice Cox for seven years.
The family would also like to express heartfelt thanks to the ‘angels’ of Hospice who provided care and treated Mary with concern, dignity and respect. We are forever grateful.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 10-11am at Horne Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 11am the Horne Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, in Mary’s memory, please spend time with your elderly loved ones over the holidays.
