Maretha Boyd Lester

Maretha Boyd Lester, 98, of Christiansburg, Va. passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Dublin, Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Lester and 10 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Wayne (Dollie) Lester; grandson, Michael (Elizabeth) Lester; and her great-grandson, Trent Lester "The Joy of her life" She is also survived by one sister, Blanch Boyd Quesenberry and many nieces and nephews.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad or the Christiansburg Fire Department.
Many thanks for all the good care and kindness shown to my mom at highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral home and a funeral service will be conducted on 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
