Margaret Eldred

Margaret “Mickey” Belchee Eldred, 90, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 27, 2013. She was known as “Nonnie” to her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Eldred was born in Bramwell, WV, graduated high school in Welch and attended Concord College. Married in 1946, Mickey and Everett lived in Richmond before retiring at Claytor Lake in the Snowville area of Pulaski County. She was a member of the Snowville Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Terry. She is survived by her husband of 66 years Everett F Eldred, son William Eldred, wife Renae, son-in law Parker Terry and grandchildren Trip Terry, Michael Eldred and Stephen Eldred along with several cousins, nieces and nephew. She will be especially missed by the friends with whom she walked many miles at Claytor Lake.

Funeral Service will be held at the Snowville Baptist Church on Monday July 1, 2013. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. followed by services at 11 a.m. Graveside service will be Tuesday, July 2 at 2 p.m. at Westview Cemetery in Farmville, VA. In lieu of flowers contribution may be sent to Snowville Baptist Church, 5296 Lead Mine Rd, Hiwassee, VA 24347.
