Martha Hepfner

Martha Carol Martin Hepfner, 69, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Blacksburg, VA. She was born in New Castle, VA, to the late Hampton and Monsell Martin. Martha loved life and being with people. She was a beautician and in later years worked in nursing homes and in private homes taking care of the disabled.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Hepfner; and a sister, Delores Martin Webb.
She is survived by a daughter, Jill Denise Hepfner of Troutville; two sisters, Ama M. Reid of Salem, and Louvena M. Sanders of Roanoke; and sister-in-law, Kathy Williams of PA, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held for family and friends on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 10:00 am in Sunrise Burial Park, Radford, with Elwood Carwile officiating.
