Mary Lee Basham-Cline

Mary Lee Basham-Cline 87, of Shawsville, VA, went to be with her Heavenly Father Friday, July 1, 2016, surrounded by her loving children.

Mary was born in Pocahontas, West Virginia, on November 9, 1928. She was a charter member of Seneca Baptist Church in Elliston. Mary was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Delmar "Chick" Cline; son, Johnny E Cline; parents, Noah and Lottie Basham; grandson, Steven Todd Cline; as well as three of her siblings, Mildred, Tommy, and Jimmy. Mary leaves behind her children, Steven Wayne and Tina B. Cline of Montvale VA, and Donna C. Mellichamp of Bridgeville PA. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Monacca C. and Thomas Pitts of Blairsville, PA, Christina M. and Dan Caffarelli of Bridgeville, PA, Joseph T. Mellichamp of Christiansburg, Hallie C. and Evan Iczkowski of Montvale VA, Tammy and John Trussler of Radford VA; as well as 10 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings, Billy, Cleon, Carolyn, and Dorothy as well as many extended loved ones.

The family would like to thank Carilion Hospice of the New River Valley for all of their help and support.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral home. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Seneca Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
