Mary Edna Bower

Mary Edna Bower, 97, of Floyd, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Marvin Bower; parents, Alsibury and Laura Bell Holbrook Underwood; sisters and brother-in-law, Evelyn W. Curtis, & husband, Lonnie, Vesta Underwood; brothers & sisters-in-law, Henry Underwood & wife, Marie, Noah Underwood & wife Edna, Ermon Underwood & wife, Bertha , Elmer Underwood & wife, Beulah, Arthur Underwood, and Edmond (Ed) Underwood & wife, Mary.

Mary is survived by her children, Betty Royal, Carolyn Conner (Clyde), Ronald Bower (Brenda), Gary Bower (Connie), Debbie Proffitt (David), Lisa Blevins, Judy Duncan (Keith) & Diane Jones; grandchildren, Dremia Cash, Donnie Gallimore, Darrell Royal, Kevin Conner, Edsel Conner, Garrett Conner, Brenda Tamondong, Jennifer Litton, Stephanie Kirkner, Teresa Simpkins, Julie Solomon, Heather Akers, Laura Keen, Jared Proffitt, Angela Bain, Amanda De Repentigny, Jordan Duncan, Anthony Conner, Rebecca Burnett, Darrell Conner, Jessica Harris, Christopher Potter, Jeramie Potter, Ashley Bond; special sister-in-law,Cordelia Underwood (thank you Cordelia for all of your calls and prayers of concern for Mom and family); numerous great-grandchildren; and a few great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, November 23, 2018, from noon to 1 p.m. at Lighthouse Family Ministries. Funeral Services will begin at 1 p.m. at the Church, with Rev. Steve Board officiating. Interment will follow in St. Matthew Cemetery.
