HORNBARGER, MARY ADKINS, 93, of Christiansburg departed this life on November 23, 2004 at Radford Nursing and Rehab Center.
The daughter to the late George W. & Margaret Adkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hiram Perry Hornbarger, Sr. and her son, Hiram Perry Hornbarger, Jr.; one grandson, Larry Michael Dickerson and two granddaughters, Gretchen Charlene Dickerson & Pamela Dawn Dickerson. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Donald & Gloria Hornbarger, Christiansburg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jean H. & Blane Dickerson, Richmond; Pat & Bill Fulcher, Christiansburg. She is also survived by her three grandsons and two granddaughters; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their appreciation to English Meadow Retirement Home for her four years there and to the Radford Nursing & Rehab Center for the care they gave to her.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 27 at Belview United Methodist Church with Pastor Aaron Fitch and Rev. Sebert Rorrer officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. Flowers will be appreciated but those wishing to make contributions, please consider the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, P. O.
