Mary Ethel Wheeling

Wheeling, Mary Ethel, 94, of Christiansburg, VA, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Mary Ethel was born in Montgomery County, VA on January 4, 1929

She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Lillie Richardson Wheeling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Edna Mae Wheeling, Edith Darcas Wheeling and Kathleen Musselman.

Mary Ethel had a love for the outdoors. She loved planting and taking care of her flowers. She will be dearly missed by all, including her cat Snoopy.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 1-2 p.m. at the Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted immediately after the visitation on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, Christiansburg, VA. Interment will follow in the Wheeling Family Cemetery at Den Hill.

In lieu of flowers, a request has been made for contributions to help offset burial expenses.
