McKinley F. Crowder, 80, of Blacksburg, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2012.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Barbara L. Crowder; his son David M. Crowder of Dublin, VA; his daughters Deborah L. Crowder of Pearisburg, VA and Patricia A. Foley of Rocky Point, NC; granddaughters April D. Crowder of the home, April M. Jayne and Heather D. Williams, both of Wallace, NC; grandson David M. Crowder, Jr. of Jettersville, VA; and great-granddaughters Lacey G. Jayne and Molly C. Jayne of Wallace, NC.
He retired from Goodwill Industries after 13 years of employment.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, from 6-8 pm, at Horne Funeral Home, with the memorial service to commence at 7 pm in the Chapel.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made in Mr. Crowder's name to the American Heart Association, 4504 Starkey Road, #115, Roanoke, VA 24018.
