Melva Sutphin, 76, of Roanoke, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Covy and Elverna Sowers.
Melva is survived by her children, Brenda White, Jeffery and Lisa Sutphin, Barbara Light, Tammy and Darryl Wade; sister, Christine and Owen Martin; brother, Roy Sowers; grandchildren, Tequilla Shelton, Mark Wade, Peggy, Kelly, and Brian Sutphin, Crystal Killenger; great-grandchildren, Emily, Xachary, Cameron, Lindsey, Lynia, Ceairra and Mickaayla; and great great-grandaughter, Kinley.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 25, 2017, from 5-7 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
