FLINCHUM, MERL MILLER, age 71, of Christiansburg went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 28, 2004.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Flinchum, parents, Robert & Pearl Miller; brother, Carry Miller and nephew, Kevin Miller. She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Sharon Flinchum; sister and brother-in-law, Marie & Eather Phillips; brothers and sisters-in-law, R. C. & Carmel Miller, Billy & Dorothy Miller; Sonny & Loretta Miller; special friends, Coreen Martin and Patti Palmer. Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Lighthouse Family Ministries (Union Valley), Riner, VA. Funeral services will be conducted at the church at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Buford Linkous and Mr. Donnie Board officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The Flinchum Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, (382-2612).
