Michael Wayne Barker Sr, 55, of Riner, died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, October 30, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cline & Zelva Barker. He is survived by his wife, Betty Barker; daughter & son-in-law, Michelle & David Kingrea; son, Michael Wayne Barker, Jr; sisters & brothers-in-law, Jo Ann & Don Huffman, Linda & Donnie Grubb and Joyce Brown; several nieces and nephews; special niece, Hannah Nichole Grubb; and many special friends, Donnie, Billy, Freddie, Willy, Johnny and Ray.
The family will receive friends at Horne Funeral Home on Thursday, October 31, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 1 at Light House Family Ministries with Rev. Buford Linkous officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Floyd Co.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to the funeral home to help off set expenses.
