Michael Gibson Noonkester

We are sad to announce that on Saturday, January 28, 2023, Michael Gibson Noonkester, loving husband, brother, father of four, and grandfather of four & a half, passed away at the age of 51.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, David Noonkester; mother, Sandra; older sister, Beth.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Joan; daughters, Sarah, Kelcie (Pat) Aders, Megan (Terrell) Thomas; son, William Noonkester and his girlfriend Breanna May; loving sister, Julie Bryant; cousin, Pat Cole; several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank everyone for the thoughts and prayers you all have provided to Mike and their family. They have meant the world to them during this difficult time. They would especially like to express their gratitude to Intrepid Hospice and the home healthcare nurses who cared for Michael.
A celebration of Michaels life will take place on February 4, 2023 at 3:00 pm located at The Prices Fork Grange, 4248 Prices Fork Road, Blacksburg, VA.
