Michael Davis O'Neil

Michael Davis O’Neil, 64, of Christiansburg, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017. He worked for Kroger Meat Plant and was a driver for Kroger for 39 years.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude Dixon Harkrader; and father, Radford Hammit O’Neil. He is survived by his wife, Kathy J. O’Neil; son, Brandon M. O’Neil; brother, Glenn E. O’Neil and wife Margaret; niece, Kimberly Dawn Simeroth; great-nephew, Ryan O’Neil Simeroth; step-niece, Patricia Hannah; step-nephews, Steve Hutcherson, Mike Hutcherson and wife Jamie; step-great-niece, Jessica Hannah; step-great-nephew, Zachery Hannah; numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as his best friend whom he considered a brother, Tom Beckner and wife Brenda.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, from 5-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Sunset Cemetery with Rev. Gary Butcher officiating.
