Michael Wade Scott, 55, of Christianburg, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Wade Scott & Ina Mae Scott. He is survived by his children, Mickey Scott, Heather Buckland, Johnathan Scott, Amber Scott, Derrick Yoders; step-son, Paul Goodson; 9 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; his girlfriend of 7 years, Tiffany Lemons; brother, Jerry Scott; sisters, Mary Lou Stillwell and Sonja Lester; and nephews, Matthew Lester (Bridget) and Gabrielle Lester. A very special niece Amy Repass also survives.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, March 1, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin, with Elder Larry Carter officiating.
The family welcomes flowers, however, anyone wishing to please consider a donation to Horne Funeral Service to help offset the funeral expenses.
