Milton Reed

Reed, Milton W, 65, of Blacksburg, passed away Feb. 12, 2010 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Reed.

Mr. Reed is survived by his best friend and companion of 22 years, Barbara Blankenship; mother, Hazel Reed; daughter, Kimberley Reed Stewart and son-in-law, Donald Stewart; grandson, Devan Stewart; granddaughter, Sidney Stewart; daughter, Kristi Reed Thomas and son-in-law, Craig Thomas; grandson, Easton Thomas; granddaughter, Marin Thomas; sister, Joyce Nunley and brother-in-law, Sammy Nunley; nephews, Jeffrey and Heath Loar; brother, Thomas Reed and sister-in-law, Linda Reed; niece, Teri Helms and nephew, Shawn Reed; brother, Roy Reed and sister-in-law, Theresa Reed; nephew, Tony Reed and niece, Betina McGuire, many great nieces and nephews; and former spouse, Susie R. Stamper.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010 in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, 2010 at Horne Funeral Service.

Interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
