YOUNG, Myles Lee, 92 of Christiansburg, VA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 22, 2007. He was born April 3, 1915.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife; Annie Hall Young and his son; Phillip Lee Young.
He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers; Dellas Young and Erbie Young and his wife; Dorothy, all of Christiansburg, a son; Robert T. Young and his wife; Brenda of Christiansburg, granddaughters; Deidre Brearley and her husband; Todd, of Jacksonville, Florida, Lori Newman and her husband, Mark, of Blacksburg, Connie Conley and her husband, Larry, of Christiansburg, a grandson; Roby Myles Young and his wife Anna, of Christiansburg, great grandchildren; Samantha Phillips and Ryan Conley.
The family wishes to express a special Thank You to Skyline Manor Nursing Home for providing a comfortable home for our loved one and to all the staff and nurses who loved and cared for him.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 24, 2007 at The Horne Funeral Home from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gleasanna Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. The family request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Fairview United Methodist Church 3636 Fairview Church Road, in Riner, VA. 24149.
