Pamela J. McNeil

Pamela J. McNeil of Christiansburg, VA, passed away on March 25, 2024 at Highland Ridge Rehab Center in Dublin, VA, after a long battle with diabetes.  Pam was preceded in death by her father and mother, Robert and Irene Yow; her biological parents, Larry Yow and Linda Stroud; and her sister, Sherry Yow Howk.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Barry McNeil; daughter, Gina McHale (Eli); son, Jody Green (Amber); stepdaughter, Cherokee McNeil; brothers, Donnie and Kelly Yow (Janelle); grandson, Dakota Green (Hannah Smith); granddaughter Skyla McHale; great-granddaughter, Willow McHale; and her mother-in-law, Ocie McNeil.

Pam was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to many.  She was one of the most caring people you could ever meet and was always trying to find something to do for others.  Her strong loving nature made her perfect for her line of work as a caregiver.  She had a wonderful singing voice and enjoyed sharing it with others.  She was very courageous in her struggles with her health and her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now at peace.

Graveside Services will be held in her memory on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
