Pamela Hooker Wade, 64, of Christiansburg, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018.

Pam graduated from Bridgeport High School in Bridgeport, WV and Radford University. She was a Montgomery County school teacher for 20 years, having taught at Christiansburg Primary School and Falling Branch where she influenced many lives. Pam loved to cook and was very good at it! She loved doing things for others – we will all miss her.

Pam was preceded in death by her father, Buddy Hooker; and brother, Tim Hooker. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ernie Wade; son, Matthew Wade and girlfriend Brandi Sons; mother, Joan Hooker Bishop; brother, Johnny Hooker; special aunt and uncle, Gerry and Bob Yearout; special friend, Pat Crockett; as well as numerous other loving relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank her caretakers at Richfield Nursing and Rehab Center.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 8, 2018, from 1-3 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home, with the Memorial Service to follow at 3 p.m. in the Chapel.
