Parlie Franklin Hanks Jr., 81, of Christiansburg passed away on May 20, 2016. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Parlie was preceded in death by several siblings. He is survived by wife, Betty Hanks; sons, P.F. Hanks III, Steven Hanks, Terry Quesenberry and Charles Quesenberry; daughters, Donna McCall and Cynthia Calfee and their families; 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Faye Worrell; 4 brothers-in-law; sister-in-law, Marietta Hanks; special friend, Mac Gibson and many friends and coworkers at Corning.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ersell Alderman officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Arthiritis Foundation at www.arthritis.org .
