Patricia Jean Hill

Patricia Jean Hill (Proco), 81 of Christiansburg traveled to her final dwelling place on Saturday, March 19th, 2022. She will be greatly missed by everyone she touched. She was most known for her one-of-a-kind laugh and wild spirit. She spent her time participating in and spectating recreational sports. In her later years, she was known to stay up late to watch the Golden State Warriors play basketball. Patty served diligently at the formerly known, Radford Community Hospital in the labor and delivery department. Her happiest times were spent caring for children, with her top priority being her own grandchildren. She was a beautiful and caring soul and she will be deeply missed. She had a heart of gold and prayed daily without ceasing.




Her surviving family members are her son Mike Hill (Leslie), her two granddaughters- Emily and Kari Hill. Her aunt, Robertine Gravely. As well as several nieces and nephews who brought her great joy.



She is reunited with her husband of 50 years, Howard Douglass Hill and also predeceased by her parents Maude and Peter Proco. Her sister Janice Woolwine, brother Bruce Proco, and several in-laws.



The family will be welcoming visitors for a viewing at Horne Funeral home from 5:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 22nd. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, March 23rd at 11:00 am also at Horne Funeral home with a burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens to follow.
