Paul M. Deaner Sr.

Paul M. Deaner, Sr., 96 of Riner, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021.
Paul was a proud U.S. Marine veteran, having served in World War II. Afterwards he worked as a service technician for Washington Gas Co. in Washington D.C. where retired in 1980. Paul then moved to be close to his children, where he enjoyed farming with his son Paul Jr.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Deaner; son, Paul M. Deaner, Jr.; daughter, Diane Wilson; and parents, Judson L. and Florence F. Deaner.
Paul is survived by his daughter-in-law, Donna J. Deaner; son-in-law, John A. Wilson; granddaughters, Wendy Hannah (Stu), Lisa Maples (Brian), and Christine Hylton (Andrew); 4 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be a Graveside Service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
