Paul Eugene Herrell

On Sunday, January 11, 2015 Paul Eugene Herrell, Jr., 62, of Elliston, VA, lost his
battle with cancer and joined his parents Paul Eugene Herrell Sr. and Maryjane
Dondero as well as his youngest brother Daniel Ernest Herrell with our heavenly
father. Paul was a hard working dedicated member of the Elliston Volunteer Fire
Department where he spent most of his free time. He always had a smile on his
face and never once complained about any of the obstacles in his life.

Paul is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sahndra Herrell; his three children:
Rosanna Mae Zamudio and husband Jesse, Paul Eugene Herrell III, and David
Andrew Herrell; his grandchildren: Brandon Leo Herrell, Victoria Elizabeth
Whitesed and Chelsey Danielle Herrell, Joseph Robert Dickerson, Joel Allen
Dickerson, Gage M. Lunney, Robert William Dickerson, II, and James Allen
Dickerson; three sisters and one brother: Mary Brooks and husband Billy, Paula
Burns, Virginia Harold and husband Jeff, and Kevin Herrell and wife Barbara; son-in-law, Robert William Dickerson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many
friends.

A Memorial Service with fire department honors to celebrate the life of Paul will
be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 2:00 from the Chapel of Horne Funeral
Home in Christiansburg, VA. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial
contributions be made to the Elliston Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 290,
Elliston, VA 24087 in Paul’s name.
