Pauline Huff Alley

Mrs. Pauline Huff Alley, 79, joined her beloved husband of 63 years, Ervin Bruce Alley,
on September 7, 2016. She passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her children and
grandchildren.

She was born in Guilford, Maine in 1937 and met the love of her life before relocating to
Virginia in the 1970s. She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Veatrice
Huff; daughter, Pamela; son, Ervin Jr.; her brothers, Barney and Rod; sisters, Marita and Betty; niece, Shari Olinger; nephew, Douglas Demuth; grandson, Kevin Bruce Alley, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Kevin and Debbie Alley, Jeffrey Alley, Steven Alley,
Nancy and Mario Alvarado, Kim Alley and Brian Alley. She was the beloved grandmother of Brandy Alley, Cierra Alley and John Roberts, Tuesday Alley, Joye and Alexis Berry, Brittany, Kai and Mara Alvarado, Amanda, Joseph and Ashley Weaver, Maggie Smith and Nicole Richardson; as well as great-grandmother to Jayden Alley, Adalyn Garland, Elijah and Olivia Roberts, Avacyn Nelson and Malakai, Jasmine, Aariana and Devin Weaver. She was also blessed with many nieces and nephews including Debra and Bob Beattie, Marilyn Widdecombe, Alan and Greg Demuth; great-nephew and great-niece, Christopher and Brianna Widdecombe; and sister-in-law and niece, Jane and Vicky Huff. She was also fortunate to have become acquainted with many of the wonderful residents of Warm Hearth Village, South Trolinger, as well as wonderful friends and neighbors, Virginia and Madeline.

A graveside service will be held on October 17, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. at Sunset Cemetery in
Christiansburg, VA for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in Pauline's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
