Pauline Burton

Burton, Pauline, 69, of Christiansburg, VA, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 8, 2010. She was born in Radford, VA on April 18, 1941 to the late Robert Edward and Evelyn Fizer Burton.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Leroy, Randy, and Ralph Burton.

She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church for over 30 years, where she was very active in the Good News Ministry. She was a loving caregiver and was always there for her family.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Cloyd Burton; numerous, very special nieces and nephews; special friends, Nancy Conner, Betty Price, and Freddie Burton; and her very special church family.

Memorial contributions may be made to a cancer fund of your choice or to her church.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Gethsemane Baptist Church. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Gethsemane Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Burton Family Cemetery.
