Radford, Pearline Mabry, age 77, of Christiansburg, VA, went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2011. Mrs. Radford retired after thirty years as manager at Imperial Reading. She was born on May 27, 1933, to Curtis George Mabry and Etta Caviness Mabry.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Eston “Tom” Radford, as well as a son, Thomas J. Radford in Richmond, VA, a daughter and son in law, Teressa and Robert Thayer of Mooresville, NC, and a daughter and son in law, Robin and Jerry Childs of Riner, VA; sisters Sally Smith of Salem, VA, and Millie Howell of Chesterfield, VA; granddaughter and her husband, Jessica and Mark Marinoble of Fredricksburg, VA and great grandchildren Alyssa, Issabelle and Josiah Marinoble. She was preceded in death by her brother Burton Mabry.
She loved cooking, gardening, her little dog; Liberty, housekeeping, caregiving and working in her greenhouse among beautiful flowers and plants. She was a dedicated, wonderful, loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. “She will be missed by all until we meet again.”
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 27, 2011, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, January 27, 2011, at 11:00 am at Horne Funeral Home chapel.
