MITCHELL, Peggy Davis, 70 of Christiansburg beloved wife and mother died Saturday, September 10, 2011.
The daughter to the late Brinston and Sally Davis. She was also preceded in death by her sisters; Alberta Songer, Jennie Caldwell, several half sisters and one half brother, son-in-law; Ricky Rakes and her first husband; Basil Hugh Wilson.
She is survived by her husband; Roy Edward Mitchell, two daughters and son-in-law; Joyce Wilson and Tina and Todd Beckner, sister; Elsie Furrow, half sisters; Gladys Lorene Cooper, Marlene Cox, Gloria Smith, Erma Whitlock, and Martha Smith, two step sons; Roy Edward Mitchell, Jr., Timothy Wayne Mitchell and his wife; Jennifer. She is also survived by her special friends; Beatrice Thompson and Deborah Womack.
The family will receive friends at The Horne Funeral Home on Monday, September 12, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Buck Yopp officiating officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
