Phyllis Diane Franklin Harris

Phyllis Diane Franklin Harris, 80, of Christiansburg passed away October 26, 2023. She was born to the late Rev. Sam A. and Mary McCraw Franklin on July 30, 1943. We are happy that she is in heaven rejoicing with her parents, husband, Paul Harris and her daughter, Teresa Jones. Also preceded in death are her son-in-law, Gregory Colley; granddaughter, Sarah Colley; brother and sister-in-law, Bill & June Franklin; brother-in-law, Louis Jones and niece, Cindy Franklin. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Kathy Colley; grandchildren, Brandon Teany, Paul Jones Jr with Amanda Shepherd, Michael Jones, Krista Sours and husband, Billy, Dylan Colley and wife, Tiffany, Travis Colley with Rose Shelton; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Francis ‘Jitter’ Jones and Wanda Lawson; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, October 30 at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at Horne Funeral Home with Pastor Steve and Lou Akers officiating. Interment will in Indian Creek Cemetery in Floyd.
