Princess Chandler

Princess Virginia Gearheart Chandler, 101, of Dalton, Ohio, formerly of Shawsville, VA, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Chandler; daughter, Margaret Chandler Arnold Kelly; granddaughter, Susie Arnold Henderson; parents, John Henry & Tura Ann Greg Gearheart; as well as 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Princess is survived by her son, Cecil Chandler (Barbara) of Crawfordsville, IN; grandchildren, Jackie Harwood (Randy), Curtis Chandler (Glenna), Brian Chandler (Lisa), Karen Anderson, Debi Dixon (Rick Ruegg); step-grandchildren, Angela Cummings and Shelly Hawk; 14 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; 4 step great-grandchildren; as well as 2 step great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. Porter Riner officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. The family will receive visitors 1 hour prior to the funeral service.
