GEARHEART, RALPH EVERETT, age 79, of Pilot, passed away suddenly Thursday, June 29, 2006. He was a retried employee of VDOT.
His is survived by his wife, Edna T. Gearheart, a daughter, Peggy L. Gearheart Sargent; one son, Kenneth W. Taylor; grandsons, Robbie Sargent, Eric Taylor; a sister-in-law, Virginia Martin; close friends, John Broyles, Ashly Brown, Jim & Monica Weshoh and Bill and Kim Delaney; four nieces and six nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Friday evening at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 1, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Huffville Cemetery, Floyd Count. The Gearheart family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, VA (382-2612)
