Ralph Roop

Roop, Ralph Miller, 58, of Christiansburg, died at his home, Wednesday, July 19, 2006.

He is survived by his wife; Suzie Myers Roop, Daughters; Carrie Suzan Roop, and Lori Michelle Roop, all of Christiansburg. his granddaughter; Izabella Rose DeJohn of Christiansburg, A special daughter; Debbie C. Moore of Radford, Also surviving are his sisters, brothers-in-law, brother and sister-in-law; Louise & Frank Akers of Christiansburg, Ann Ruth Thornton of Pulaski, Coleen & Lawrence Caldwell of Christiansburg, Carolyn Caldwell of Radford, and Donald & Susie Roop of Pilot. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Ralph was a faithful member and Elder of Belmont Christian Church. Ralph was a Veteran who loved his Church, country and ministry with children.

Friends may call anytime after 12 noon Friday at Belmont Christian Church, where the family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 p.m. at the Church. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2006 at the Church with Pastor Jim Bayne officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family is requesting in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Blue Ridge Christian Camp, P.O. Box 428, McCoy, VA 24111. The Roop family is being served by Horne Funeral Service. (382-2612)
