Rex Allen 'Buckshot' Taylor

Rex Allen ‘Buckshot’ Taylor, 25, of Christiansburg, passed away at home on August 28, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruth Taylor; grandfather, Rex Anders; uncle, James Taylor; and a special uncle, Timothy Anders. Surviving are his father, Charles Taylor; mother and best friend, Melissa Taylor; grandfather, Allen Taylor; grandmother, Linda Anders; children, Damien and Dayla Taylor; uncles, Allen Taylor and wife and Junior Taylor and wife; aunts, Hope Anders and Renee Anders; cousins, Jay Sartin, Matthew Anders, and Jody Taylor; as well as special friends, Tracy Hughes and Barry Marvin.

Rex loved his music and was a loving person. There was nothing he would not do for anyone. He will be missed by so many.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, from 12-2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held directly after at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Russell Shepperd officiating. Interment will follow in Northfork Cemetery.
