Richard Lee Cox

Richard Lee Cox, 66, of Christiansburg, formerly of Dunbar, WV passed away from a sudden illness on Monday, November 12, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Loren E. Cox.

Richard is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 37 years, Victoria D Cox; mother and father, Louise Harris (Paul W.); daughter, Myra D Lilly (Robert); grandchildren, Robert Lilly and Kelly Lilly; siblings, Steven Cox (Sherry), Rebecca Callihan (Gary); niece and nephews, Amy Callihan, Christopher Cox (Sabrina), and Grayson Cox (Amanda).

Richard retired with 42 years of service with the Kroger Company. He enjoyed golfing with his buddies, fishing, and spending time with his family, friends and his kitties. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at noon at the First Baptist Church of Racine in WV, with Pastor Anthony Pratt officiating. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in memory of Richard to the First Baptist Church of Racine, 534 River Road, Racine, WV 25165.
