COOK, JR., ROBERT JACOB, age 62, of Christiansburg, passed away suddenly Wednesday, December 28, 2005. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Jacob Cook, Sr. and mother, Bonnie Yopp Cook.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Cook; one son, Dwayne Cook; two step-sons and daughter-in-law, Jackie & Vicki McCallister; Eric McCallister; two step-daughters and son-in-law, Christina McCallister and Samantha & Sean Newcome; eight grandchildren, Dillon Waldron, Logan Waldron, Cody Howell, Dakota McCallister, Taylor Newcome, Megan Horne, Amber McCallister, and Alexis Newcome; and one sister, Caroline Cook.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2005 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Booth officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The Cook Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
