Rodney Thomas Riddle

Rodney Thomas Riddle, 59 of Christiansburg, passed away Saturday morning, February 1, 2025, at his residence. He was born October 10, 1965, in Pembroke, Virginia, the son of the late Thomas and Anna Winkler Riddle.

Rodney is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Lisa (Sherwood); two sons, Christopher (Paige) and Matthew Riddle, both of Christiansburg; brother, Larie (Sheilia) Riddle of Blacksburg; and two grandchildren, Zoey and Willow. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Erwin Riddle.

Those who knew Rodney will remember him for his infectious smile and overwhelming laughter, his deep-rooted faith in Jesus, and his unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone he encountered. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bridge FourSquare Church, 880 Life Drive, Christiansburg, Virginia, on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., with Will Fillingham officiating. Visitation will be held an hour before the Service.  Interment will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin.
